Wednesday Weigh-In – 4/20/11

Now this is getting frustrating.  For the 4th week in a row, I weigh 157.4.  I have upped my workouts this week, and am being extra diligent with the ol’ eating plan, so we’ll see.

One thing I am considering though, is trying a week of vegetarian meals just to see how it goes.  I don’t eat that much meat, now, so doing this won’t represent much of a hardship.  And I might learn something, who knows.

    Have you checked with a professional about this plateau? I know that in Weight Watchers, if we plateau, they would suggest that we eat a bit more, and it would kick the metabolism into high gear. Try adding an apple a day.

    Agreed-don’t make too many additional changes, let your body catch up. Your weight is not going up….it will kick up to a new level after it sees you are not going to give in and change the input. Stay the course!

    Your determination is motivating! I think that will be a big key in your success. Glad to hear you haven’t gained in four weeks. That’s encouraging.

    Just make sure if you’re not eating meat that you’re getting all eight amino acids in your plant protein combinations, though I don’t suppose a one week meat fast will be the path to anemia.

    How frustrating. Not gaining any weight back is good though! Good for you. Lee and I have been watching our calories and exercising now for four weeks. I think I’m starting to get some tiny muscles. hehehe
