Mar 31

March has been a very rough month – both weather and work-wise.  Both have had their ups and downs and turmoil and squalls and…  You get the idea.

But today is sunny and supposed to get up to 66 degrees today.  I am teaching tonight, which I love to do.  Let’s hope the rest of the days is as calm and productive.

Just a little over 2 weeks until the end of tax season.  I am nearly caught up.

I hope March is going out like a lamb in your neck of the woods, too.

This may seem really unimportant in the greater scheme of things, but I’m at a loss as to what to do.

This winter, I have been dealing with a lot of static electricity in my hair – like nothing I have ever seen before.  It’s like my hair has a life of its own and floating all over is part of its agenda.

I’ve tried using hydrating shampoos and conditioners and it has helped some, but it is driving my up the wall.

Got any suggestions?  I’d like to keep it at the slightly-longer-than-shoulder length it is now, but if I can’t get this issue under control, I’m going to whack it off.

Scott was interviewed at the 2014 Indiana Comic Con and I get to pop in at the end of it.  The sound isn’t that great (it was really noisy in there and Scott is a soft speaker), but it is a fun video nonetheless.

Enjoy!

Still Busy

Seriously folks, this has been the roughest tax season I have experienced since I worked for a CPA company more than a dozen years ago.  Right now, all I am doing is working, sleeping, working, teaching, sleeping and working some more.

Scott and I did attend the Indiana Comic Con this past weekend, though, and we broke all of our sales records.  I’ll leave you with a couple of links to read all about it.

I hope your spring is looking sunny and warm.

I am not ignoring you guys, nor am I sick.  It’s just that this time during tax season has been extra busy and my hours are very long right now.

On top of that, Sandy and I have had two weekends of shows in a row.  This past weekend was the craft fair at the Johnson County Fairgrounds.

Johnson C Craft Fair

We only took the tie dye and a couple of fibers that crafters like (for felting and such).  It was not a busy day, but we did sell quite a few items.

Also, I saw and fell in love with this:

tree necklace

This is two trees intertwined on a rainbow obsidian stone.  It caught my eye when I was walking by and I stopped to admire it.  I wish I had the funds with me that day because I would own that necklace.  The vendor, Mary Clarkson, had some lovely items and both Sandy and I found items we loved.

Posts may be a bit sporadic for the next week or so until I can get past a couple of deadlines.  Have a great rest of the week!
