People who feel there are no blessings in their lives just might not be looking in the right places.

Scott has taken exception to our front entry way, which we never use.

In fact, he has mentioned buying a machete to chop all those “weeds” down.  But I stopped him.  Why?

Because these prickley weeds hold many, many little blessings.

So many little blessings in fact that I got some plastic storage containers and began counting them.  I counted them from one direction, then went through the house and out the front door and counted them from another direction.  Now, I only counted the ripe blessings, because if you pick count a blessing before it is ripe, then you have wasted a blessing.

The key is to leave the unripe blessings to ripen for another day.

So that you may enjoy them for a longer period of time than just the one day.

I can’t wait to pick count more blessings tomorrow.  By the way, these washed up and were filled 9 zip-lock sandwich bags half-way.  Guess what we are going to have with our breakfasts or as snacks this week?
